Feel better with the power of nature
Outdoor sessions are available in a variety of settings around the Sacramento area, and can include going on a nearby walk or hike, a trip to the river, or sitting in a quiet park. There are many benefits to outdoor sessions, and they can serve as an enjoyable setting for our therapy work or as a compliment to an ecotherapy session.
Ecotherapy encompasses many practices and modalities, and each session may be slightly or very different. From conducting a more traditional talk therapy session in the outdoors, to interacting with nature through somatic practices, integrating nature can be a healing component to our practices.
Being outdoors can be a wonderful and immersive way to practice ecotherapy, however, these practices can also be done indoors and even virtually.
